What should I upload when completing your “contact us” form?

It depends. If you’re purchasing the resume writing service, you would upload your current resume, the URL to your LinkedIn profile, and target job ads. If you are seeking other services, see the “Our Proven Process” section at the bottom of the web pages under the “services” menu.


How do I make payment?

We currently offer three options: checks, Zelle, and PayPal


What can I expect to happen after I make a purchase?

One of our writers or staff members will reach out to you within 24 hours (and likely much sooner!) to get the process started.


What role do I play when I order career marketing materials (e.g., resumes or LinkedIn profiles)?

Producing great career marketing materials requires us to collaborate with you in several ways. You’ll need to complete a survey, participate in an interview, answer follow-up questions via email, and provide any edits you’d like us to make after you receive an initial copy of your materials. Our process requires you to be fairly involved/engaged — it’s critically important for us to get your input and for you to make sure we get your contextual information exactly right. 


How long will it take for me to receive my resume and/or other materials?

It depends on which services you select. We promise to deliver all materials within seven to ten business days after your initial consultation. We can often turn around cover letters, bios, retargeted resumes, and resume reviews more quickly than fully revamped resumes or LinkedIn profiles. Job search and interview strategy sessions can be scheduled as soon as 1-3 days after you contact us.


Do I have to complete a survey or questionnaire?

We typically request that clients complete a survey. However, if you’d rather do a longer interview in lieu of the survey, we are happy to accommodate your needs/preferences. 


I don’t want to do a 1:1 interview. Is this required?

It is strongly encouraged but not required. If a client feels strongly about this, we can do a survey in the place of the interview. 


Your prices are higher than some resume companies. Why?

Our prices are higher than some of our competitors but lower than others. We charge more than some of our competitors because we only use certified resume writers, we do in-depth 1:1 personal interviews (instead of relying exclusively on surveys), give you unlimited access to your writer, and provide post-service tips and advice.  We also do revisions as needed to ensure the materials we produce meet your standards/expectations. 


Is it required that I have a resume, LinkedIn profile, cover letter, or bio to seek your services?

No! We will write your materials from scratch, though the cost of the service may be a bit higher than if you had a current copy of these materials.


Will your company answer my questions after I receive my materials/products?

Yes, we consider ourselves a trusted advisor to our clients, so we do our best to answer the questions they may have after using our services. We are also happy to include clients on our email distribution list so that they will continue to receive resume and career tips.


What types of outcomes can I expect by having your company revise or write my resume and LinkedIn profile?

Your materials will be more attention-grabbing and, in almost all cases, lead to more job interviews than if you rely on the current version of your resume. Though you are also very likely to get more job offers, we cannot guarantee this because there are other factors, such as your interview performance or the number of positions that you apply for, that are beyond our control and that influence job offers.
